Trafford's best GP practices according to the people who use them have been revealed in a survey.

The results of this year's GP Patient Survey were published last week after almost 10,000 questionnaires were circulated in Trafford, of which almost 3,000 were returned.

These questionnaires asked a range of questions about people's experiences of their GP practices, like making appointments and accessing online or out-of-hours services.

And one of the questions asked for patients to rate their overall satisfaction with their experiences.

In a repeat of last year's GP Patient Survey, Riddings Family Health Centre topped the table in responses to this question, with an overall satisfaction rating of 98 per cent.

It was followed by Altrincham's Family Surgery in second and Timperley Health Centre in third.

In total, eight practices in Trafford achieved an overall satisfaction rating of 90 per cent or more.

Although impressive, this is down from 14 practices in last year's GP Patient Survey.

At the other end of the table, North Trafford Group Practice was the only one with an overall satisfaction rating to fall below 60 per cent.

But there were four other practices in Trafford to fall below the national average of 72 per cent, which was also the regional average for Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership.

However, around 80 per cent of people in Trafford as a whole were overall satisfied, well above the national average and regional average.

Here is the list of results:*

*The overall satisfaction rating is the percentage of patients who said their experience with their GP was either 'fairly good' or 'very good'.
