Police are investigating after a 'disturbance' broke out on Union Street in Oldham.
The incident, understood to have taken place near the Jobcentre Plus on Union Street, erupted at around 10.30am on Tuesday, June 28.
The group involved in the incident had fled by the time police arrived at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Detectives have appealed to the public for any information on the town centre disturbance.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 10.30am on Tuesday, June 28 we were made aware of a disturbance involving a group on Union Street, Oldham.
"Officers attended but the group dispersed prior to their arrival. No injuries have been reported. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police via the GMP website quoting incident 999 of 28, June 2022.
