Artwork by students at Trafford College is taking over Altrincham with displays in the windows of businesses across the town centre.
The town-wide art gallery is on show until Friday, July 1 with each piece of work accompanied by information and a QR code which allows visitors to find out more and view the online digital gallery on Trafford College’s website.
Jane Andrew, head of Art & Design at Trafford College said: “We worked with Altrincham BID last year to display the artwork in the town centre because Covid restrictions prevented us from holding the exhibition at the college.
"It was such a success that we are delighted to be creating a fabulous outdoor gallery in the windows of shops and businesses again for 2022.
“By visiting the college’s town-wide art show you’ll be able to get a real sense of the fantastic quality of work that has been produced this year by our students.
"The work on show is a sample of just what can be achieved on a creative art course, and we are extremely proud of this year’s students who as ever have been bold and ambitious in their work”.

Mandy White, Altrincham’s BID manager said, “It’s an absolute pleasure to work with Trafford College on this project again and we would encourage everyone to come and have a look at the artwork.
"The college is an important part of our town and it’s great to be able to celebrate the work produced by the students. We would like to thank the businesses who are supporting this project by hosting pieces of art”.
