A BOY bit a police officer who was arresting him on suspicion of theft from Selfridges in the Trafford Centre, police said.
The incident occurred yesterday (May 17) at the centre, according to a post on social media by GMP Trafford.
While on patrol at the Trafford Centre, officers arrested a boy on suspicion of theft from Selfridges.

But the boy spat, kicked out and then bit one of them, who later needed treatment for their injuries in hospital.
The boy was further arrested on suspicion of two counts of assaulting an emergency services worker.
Another boy was also arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of a knife.
Both of the boys were taken into custody to be interviewed.
