SALE'S Stanley Square is to hold an all-day fundraiser in support of refugees from Ukraine this weekend.

Attractions at the event in the town centre on Saturday, March 12, include an art wall, a raffle, performances and pop-up shops.

Some businesses at Stanley Square, like Ashby's and Cafe Se7en, will donate some of their sales on the day to the overall fund.

While other businesses, such as Petisco and Sugo Pasta Kitchen, will donate a range of prizes to the raffle.

A post on Stanley Square's social media said: "We have been moved by events in Ukraine and we want to do what we can to support those fleeing the crisis."

The overall fund at the end of the day is to be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee, which delivers aid to refugees from Ukraine via its Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
