THOUSANDS of pounds has already been raised through a growing Alrincham online auction created to help teenagers.
Among the items and experiences up for grabs are a three-night cottage stay in the heart of Windermere for six people, a custom painted portrait, and luxury Christmas and beauty hampers.
Bids totalling £4,300 have already been made, with the money set to go to teen mental health programs at Alrincharm Grammar School for Boys and The Teenage Cancer Trust.
Irene Tse, who has organised the auction as part of Alrincharm Grammar School for Boys Parents' and Friends' Association, said: "I am extremely overwhelmed that hundreds of families and businesses have got involved and donated over a hundred amazing prizes to our auction.
"The latest being from Sam Mackenzie, a director of Altrincham Football Club who has donated a table for four in their hospitality suite along with a football signed by the team."
The auction will run until 9pm on Thursday (November 18).
