Local entertainer Wayne Devlin will be performing at an Urmston restaurant to bring in the Christmas spirit this December.

Mr Devlin often performs multiple charity shows in the borough around the holidays, but this year he is performing just the one show at Mulino restaurant.

The performance will take place on Tuesday, December 7 at 7:30PM - 9:30PM, with Mr Devlin performing festive songs as well as songs from the Great American Songbook.

Mr Devlin said: "I hope the community will support my only Christmas event this year and come along to hear me bring in the Christmas spirit for our community."

For some years, Mr Devlin has performed at Christmas lights switch on events in Urmston and Timperley and hosted his own Croon into Christmas charity concerts across the borough. However, this year he will only be carrying out the single performance as he looks to spend more time with his family.

Mr Devlin said: "I love supporting our great borough of Trafford at Christmas and have done so for so many years, but after COVID-19, having had the virus myself and having seen the devastation caused to families by the pandemic, I want to focus this Christmas on my own family.

"My wife Val and our sons are my world and I want to share as much time as possible with them over this festive season."

Zola Martini, owner of Mulino, said: "We would love you to join my family and Wayne's here at Mulino at Wayne's lovely Christmas show."

People can eat an Italian meal at the restaurant while Mr Devlin performs by calling 0161 286 7819 to make a reservation. Alternatively, people are welcome to enjoy the show from the bar, with mince pies and mulled wine being offered to visitors.

Mulino is located on Primrose Avenue, off Crofts Bank Road.
