Ryanair has announced that from next month it will operate two weekly flights out of Manchester Airport to Lviv, Ukraine.
The airline said that from November 5 the route will continue to help them grow traffic and tourism across Europe, and aid with the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Lviv is a UNESCO-listed city that has brightly coloured buildings and is quickly becoming a popular city break destination.
Ryanair’s Director of Commercial, Jason McGuinness, said: “As Europe’s No.1 airline, Ryanair remains committed to re-building Europe’s aviation and tourism industry by restoring connectivity and growing its network of passengers to over 225 million by 2026.
"As Ryanair takes delivery of 55 additional Boeing 737-8200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft this winter, we are delighted to add this new route from Manchester to Lviv."
To celebrate the new route, Ryanair has launched a £19.99 seat sale for travel until March 2022.
Holidaygoers must book their tickets by midnight on Thursday October 21 to take advantage of the bargain tickets.
