A drive-in cinema, which will be screening horror movies, has arrived in Manchester for Halloween – but you won’t be watching the films alone...

Off the back of its 2020 success, Scare City will be taking over the Soccer Dome in Manchester from 1st to 31st October, delivering entertainment safely to guests in their own car from a huge 150sqm screen.

The drive-in cinema and features live scare actors dressed in horrifying costumes; they will be wandering around your vehicle while the movie plays and will also be waiting in the new walk-through Scare Zone, as well as the drive-in scare tunnel.

This year, Scare City returns with a horrific new look and witchcraft theme. Packed with surprises and delights guests know and love, visitors are guided through the haunting drive-in tunnel which sees live actors and unexpected surprises throughout for a truly hair-raising experience.

There's also a fully licensed bar and food vendors on the site, which also features an abandoned gas station, a ritual area and a graveyard.

A range of horror fans will be catered for at this events as both bone-chilling flicks and family favourites will be previewed.

Films such as A Quiet Place, The Cabin In The Woods, Insidious and The Grudge will be shown alongside spooky hits for kids such as Coraline, Hocus Pocus and Coco.

All movies will be displayed across one huge screen with live actors lurking in the shadows.
