A TEENAGER was robbed by a man on a moped in Sale last weekend.
Officers received a report of the robbery on Frodsham Road on Sunday.
They established a 16-year-old boy was walking down the road at around 4pm when he was approached by a man on a moped.
The man asked the boy for the time and drove off, but later turned around and passed the boy, stealing jewellery from his neck.
After an investigation, officers arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of the robbery.
A 20-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and drug offences.
Both have been released under investigation, and police are appealing to the public for information.
