A MAN from Flixton has been sentenced after he assaulted an emergency worker in Salford.
Tobias Smith, 23, of Chassen Road, assaulted an A&E nurse who was working on March 18.
Appearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court last week, Smith pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating.
Magistrates handed him a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement, plus a fine of £270, including costs.
