The original, authentic Oktoberfest is back in Manchester this year, promising quality beer, food and music straight from Deutschland. This unmissable event is taking place on First Street between the 8th and 17th of October. Get transported to Germany from the heart of Manchester in the huge, 2,000 person capacity Oktoberfest tent that is home to some of the most iconic Germanic traditions and treats. Some of these include:

  • Giant steins of beer brewed specially for Manchester Oktoberfest.
  • Waiters and waitresses dressed in Lederhosen and Dirndl.
  • Traditional German food such as Schnitzel, Bratwurst and Brezel.
  • A live Oompah band playing classic German songs perfect for sing-alongs.

Manchester Oktoberfest began in 2014, making this the eighth year that the festival is returning. This year is special however, as Oktoberfest is here for two weekends in a row; due to COVID restrictions the festival was cancelled in 2020, so for this year Oktoberfest is here for a second weekend. That means Manchester Oktoberfest 2021 spans a whole seven days of fun and festivities.
