An Oldham man has admitted driving dangerously and under the influence of alcohol.

Al Amin made the confession during a recent appearance at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

The 21-year-old drove on Warwick Street in Oldham earlier this month with 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35.

Amin drove the Honda Jazz dangerously on that day and without a licence or insurance.

Following his guilty pleas the case against Amin was deemed too seriously to be dealt with in that court.

It was sent to Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, where the man from Amin, whose address was given as Lee Street in Oldham, will appear next month to be sentenced.
