A man has been banned from the roads for driving under the influence of alcohol and without permission in Oldham.

Kuraone Munemo admitted a series of motoring offences during a recent appearance at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

The 44-year-old drove on Stannybrook Road in Oldham in August this year when the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 89 micrograms in 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35.

As well as this he had no insurance for the Nissan Juke he was driving or a licence.

Following his guilty pleas the man from Grovehurst Road in Ashton was fined £369.

The 44-year-old was also banned from the roads for a period of 22 months.

The court took his guilty plea into account when determining the sentence to impose.
