A STRETFORD man who admitted to buying cannabis has been hit with a ban and a fine for drug driving during lockdown.
Muhammad Shahbaz, 36, of Moss Road, pleaded guilty to the offence earlier this month.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £250.
The offence happened six months ago, when the UK was still in the middle of a third lockdown due to the ongoing pandemic.
When officers initially stopped Shahbaz and asked him what he was doing, he told them he had 'just bought some cannabis'.
