OFFICERS recovered two stolen bikes overnight after seeing a man acting suspiciously.
Two police community support officers (PCSOs) on patrol in Altrincham followed the man after seeing him riding one bike and pushing another alongside him.
Realising the PCSOs were following him, the man fled and ditched both bikes in Stamford Park.
A Trek bike has been returned to its owner, but the officers are still trying to find the owner of a Carrera mountain bike.
Anyone who has had a Carrera mountain bike stolen in or around Altrincham is asked to call police on 0161 856 7530.
