THESE shocking images show the moment a thief made off with a family's bikes in Urmston.
The thief arrived at the house on Meadowgate at around 4.10am on Thursday 8 July.
They climbed over a high, locked gate to the back of house to scout out the property.
Satisfied no one was awake, the thief then made off with all four of the family's bikes.
There were a white Cube, an orange Merida and two Trek bikes - black and turquoise.
CCTV at the house caught the theft on camera, but a positive outcome for the family seems unlikely.
Police have seen the images, but the family say they have been warned it is difficult to identify the thief due to their mask.
One of the family posted the footage to a community group on Facebook, prompting an angry reaction from other residents.
The Messenger has asked Greater Manchester Police for comment.
