A man has appeared in court accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm in Oldham.
Tyrell Thornton is accused of an attack on a man on Ashford Walk last month.
He appeared in Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court yesterday to face the allegation.
But the legal team of the 21-year-old indicated that he would not be pleading to the allegation at this stage.
A trial date was fixed for November this year, with a further hearing to take place in August where Thornton, of Kingswood Road in Manchester, is expected to enter a plea.
The court heard if the matter goes to trial it is expected to run for four to five days.
