A man has been arrested following two burglaries, one of which saw a car stolen.
Police have arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of two burglaries in Breightmet and Harwood over the past two days.
Yesterday (March 26), police responded to reports of a burglary at a house on Down Green Road in Harwood.
During the burglary, a car was stolen amongst other things. The car has now been recovered on Levens Drive in Breightmet and will be examined by the forensic team.
Today (March 27), police responded to reports of a burglary at a house on Forton Avenue in Breightmet.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of both these burglaries. He remains in police custody.
