THERE were difficult driving conditions across the UK overnight as low temperatures and snow hit.

No-one was injured in the crash and fire crews worked to make the vehicles safe and clear up a diesel spill.

A fire service spokesman warned that the roads are very slippery.

"We have seen freezing temperatures and snow across the county overnight. If you need to travel this morning please take extra care. Adjust your driving to suit the conditions," a council spokesperson said.
