THE former Polish Club in Old Trafford could be demolished if plans are given the green-light.
An application has been submitted for the site on Shrewsbury Street by Marie Wronko.
In the report to planners, it said: "The building is becoming increasingly difficult to secure and has been the subject of recent complaints to the Council due to its condition and untidy appearance.
"The building has now been vacant for over 15 years and there is no realistic prospect of it being used for any alternative purpose. Planning permission was granted in April 2002 for the re-development of the site which included considerable demolition.
Ms Wronko has been in recent discussions with Councillor Mrs Akilah Akinola about the future of the site which is subject to extensive vandalism and fly tipping
