DATA released by Public Health England shows there were 23 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Oswestry in the seven days up to Tuesday, November 17.
The map, which details case numbers in Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOA), showed there were 15 cases confirmed in Oswestry East, while eight were confirmed in Oswestry West.
The area of Gobowen, St Martin's and Weston Rhyn had eight cases confirmed, which was nine fewer than the number of cases in the previous seven-day period.
A decrease of one saw 12 new cases confirmed in Ellesmere, while four new cases were confirmed in the Trefonen and Pant area.
The area of Ruyton-XI-Towns, West Felton and Whittington had seven confirmed cases.
Cases were up by eight in the area of Baschurch, Cockshutt and Harmer Hill where 18 new cases were confirmed.
Overall, Shropshire’s total cases in the seven days up to November 17 stood at 638.
