TWO air ambulance helicopters were scrambled to a Bolton park yesterday afternoon after a teenage boy fell from height into water.
Paramedics rushed from the air and on the ground to Longsight Park in Harwood after a call was made about the incident at around 5.10pm.
The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) confirmed that two air ambulances and a hazardous area response team were sent to the scene along with other emergency vehicles.
A boy in his mid-teens suffered a head injury and sustained other injuries after the fall.
An NWAS spokeswoman said: "We were called at 17:11 and attended with two air ambulances, our hazardous area response team, rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.
"A male in his mid-teens was treated for a number of injuries including a head injury following a fall and taken to hospital by land ambulance."
Police were also in attendance.
