A special 'Thank U NHS' spitfire was seen taking to the skies over Trafford at the weekend.
George Franks managed to capture the moment as the iconic family-owned Aircraft Restoration Company’s blue photo-reconnaissance Spitfire flew overhead and raised money for NHS Charities Together.
Members of the public were able to nominate a loved one or neighbour who helped in the coronavirus pandemic.
It flew over the Trafford General Hospital NHS and Wythenshawe Hospital NHS - Altrincham and other hospitals around the North West.
