A CUSTOMER who threatened to burn down an newsagents in Bury has been jailed for 28 days.
Adam Wood, 28, has also been told by Manchester magistrates he cannot go near the Dawn Till Dusk store for two years.
Wood had initially damaged at key machine at the shop before the confrontation, the court was told.
Wood, of Walmersley Road, Bury, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to the value of £60 and making threats. An assault charge relating to shopkeeper Naser Din was withdrawn.
Magistrates jailed him on the grounds he had shown little regard for people or their property. He must also steer clear of Mr Din.
