A MAN has been charged in connection with a disturbance at a Bolton housing office.
It comes after police were called to the housing office in Waters Meeting Road, Astley Bridge, at around 4pm on June 30.
It is alleged that a member of the public had been abusive and made threats towards members of staff at the office.
On Friday officers from Greater Manchester Police's Breightmet Neighbourhood Team arrested a man in connection with the incident.
He was then taken into police custody for questioning.
Trevor Liguori, aged 33, of Kentmere Road, Breightmet, was subsequently charged with two counts of public order offences and one count of malicious communications offences.
He has been released on bail to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday August 5, police confirmed.
