MORE than 180 people have died from coronavirus in Trafford according to latest figures.
Statistics from the Office of National Statistics show that 111 have died in hospital, while a further 66 had COVID-19 in care homes and died.
Seven died at home, three at a hospice setting and two general cases elsewhere.
It took the total to 189 since the start of the crisis.
Meanwhile, there have been 829 people in the borough who have tested positive for the virus which ranks Trafford as the fifth highest in Greater Manchester.
Manchester has 1,584, Oldham 1,079, Bolton 1,019 and Salford 930.
