THE owner of a Timperley hairdressing salon is celebrating 25 years in the business and can't wait to re-open after lockdown.
Finishing Touch Hair and Beauty on Stockport Road are waiting for Hair and Beauty Council and Government advice to open again.
The firm was started by Lorraine Johnson on Norris Road in Sale and along with her daughter Coreen Flaherty they created a salon in Timperley and then five years ago, Coreen took over while Lorraine took a backseat but still works there.
Coreen added: "We are really looking forward to re-opening and want to thank everyone for coming to our business in that time. We have had some lovely messages and bubbly to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
"We have full support of the girls that work for us and we call them our A-team.
"We have still a lot of customers who have been with us since we have been in Timperley."
