Police stopped three cold callers on Carlton Street, Old Trafford
POLICE stopped three cold callers in Old Trafford today, Tuesday.
Officers said they were offering painting work at cheap prices to residents on Carlton Street and have warned people not to accept offers of work without a written quote and a 14-day cooling off period.
A police spokesman added: "The cheap price offered turns to a huge price and then bullied into paying."
