LATEST figures show that more than 150 people have died as a result of coronavirus.
The Office of National Statistics show that 103 people have died in hospitals, while a further 54 have been in care homes.
Six other people have died in homes and the death toll in hospices have been two people.
Meanwhile the latest figures show the number of people who have been tested positive for COVID-19 stands at 746. It means that the area ranks as fifth across Greater Manchester behind Manchester (1,428), Stockport (1,013), Oldham (1,004), Bolton (954) and Salford (891).
