FIVE wheelie bins were set alight in the early hours of Sunday.
Now firefighters are again calling on residents not to leave bins out overnight
Fire crews from Atherton were called to the Sharkley area of Atherton at 3.15 am to reports of one wheelie bin fire.
Whilst they were there other residents flagged the crews down saying their bins had also been set alight. In one incident the fire spread to a gate and fence, as well as to trees.
Crews were on the scene for more than an hour.
A fire spokesman said: "We advise to put the bins out in the morning and bring them back in as soon as possible and store them securely but away from property."
