THE Steve Prescott Bridge will be lit up in rainbow colours tonight – as the town comes together to applaud the NHS and other key workers.
The nation's third Clap for our Carers event will take place at 8pm tonight as the coronavirus crisis continues.
People across the UK will once again stand on their doorsteps, balconies and front gardens to applaud and cheer the workers who are keeping the nation going during the outbreak.
St Helens Council has confirmed that the Steve Prescott Bridge will be lit up in rainbow colours – the symbol of solidarity and hope during the fight against coronavirus – to mark the occasion.
