Cornwall’s "biggest ever Easter egg hunt" will celebrate the NHS – and you don’t even have to leave your home to get involved.

Children – and adults – are being asked to print off, colour in and stick in a window pictures of Easter eggs, which have been designed by Falmouth artist John Dyer.

Organiser BBC Radio Cornwall hopes spotting the colourful drawings will make a fun game for families out for their daily exercise, while showing solidarity with hardworking NHS staff.

Pictures of the finished drawing can be sent to John Dyer to feature on his online gallery.

Breakfast presenter James Churchfield said: “This is a difficult time for so many people and we hope that this slightly unusual Easter egg hunt will inject a bit of fun and a bit of colour into Cornwall.

“Hopefully we’ll start spotting these Easter eggs all over the place and it will give our hardworking NHS staff a little extra boost.

“Please do get involved - we want to make this Cornwall's biggest Easter egg hunt ever."

John Dyer has designed three pictures for budding artists to choose from, although people can draw their own if they’re feeling creative.

He said: “When James contacted me I just thought it was a great idea.

“It’s a celebration not just of our NHS but of Easter and life - not to mention children’s creativity.

“It’s also just a really nice colouring in exercise, which is good for mindfulness and keeping us occupied.”
