NHS England have confirmed that a further 828 people have died after testing positive for Coronavirus, including 17 more in Wirral.
It brings the total number of confirmed deaths at hospitals across the country to 6,483.
The Wirral deaths were recorded between April 2 and April 7, taking the total to 46.
NHS England said: "Patients were aged between 22 and 103 years old.
"Forty six of the 828 patients (aged between 35 and 96 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
"Their families have been informed."
