A FINANCIAL advisor has appeared in court charged with frauds allegedly totalling £380,000.

Glyn Christopher Rothwell, 36, is accused of abusing his position as a financial contractor to act against the interests of Think Money, between April 2018 and February 2019, and make a gain of £219,403.

Rothwell, of Stoneleigh Avenue, Sale, is also alleged to have acted similarly, between March 2015 and April 2018, concerning Harrington Brookes Ltd, where the gain is said to have been £162,575.

Manchester magistrates remanded Rothwell on bail and adjourned his case provisionally until July 2 because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
