SALE’S oldest family business Taylors of Sale has launched a delivery service for local residents and workers.
The 169-year-old butchers will take orders from customers in Sale, Timperley and Altrincham, and offer a range of timeslots on Fridays and Saturdays.
Taylors’ responsibly, locally sourced produce will then be hand-packed before being delivered in their refrigerated van to home addresses, offices or other places of work.
Director Sam Taylor, a sixth-generation Taylor, said: “It is a service we first thought of offering because some of our oldest customers are finding it difficult to get out to the shops – especially in the winter months.
“But we have decided to roll out the offering to everyone in the Sale, Timperley and Altrincham areas, who wants fresh, responsibly and locally sourced meat.”
The Butchers shop, which specialises in locally-reared produce, celebrates its 170th anniversary next year.
Customers can find the full range of products available at the Taylors website: taylorsofsale.co.uk and delivery currently serves the M33, WA14 and WA15 postcodes.
Orders for delivery need to be placed over the phone and before 5:00pm the day before delivery. On the morning of the delivery you will need to make a card payment over the phone.
Delivery is free on orders over £25 – otherwise it is £4 per delivery.
