NEW data has revealed that Oldham is the eighth the most expensive places to insure a car in the UK, outside of London - featuring in the top 10 in a new study.

The average premium in Oldham last year was a staggering £1,048.08 a year - £578.22 more than the cheapest place of Caradon in Cornwall, where insurance premiums were just £469.86.
