A 36-YEAR-old Werneth man has been brought back to magistrates' court of after failing to comply with a community order imposed for assaulting a woman by beating in 2018.
Philip Shepherd, of Grange Court, failed to turn up for appointments with his responsible officer on December 17 and 23, 2019.
At Tameside Magistrates' Court, he was dealt with for his original offence of assault on May 21, 2018. He has been fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 costs. Shepherd must also undertake rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of 15 days.
