The Stamford Quarter is celebrating Valentine’s Day 2020 with a very special competition.

The team are looking for Altrincham’s longest married couple (over 30 years) to help them celebrate love that lasts.

Flash in the pan relationships need not apply as The Stamford Quarter is searching for Altrincham’s most enduring love story.

The Stamford Quarter wants to hear from love birds who have been together for over 30 years  to uncover the longest-standing relationship in the town.

To celebrate this romantic achievement (and by way of reward for truly putting in the hours), the shopping district will bestow an incredible Valentine’s Day gift on the couple. And as this is a competition that’s about enduring love, the prize will last all year too.

The winning couple will receive a luxury hamper containing prizes from all the retailers across the whole of the Stamford Quarter including a year’s worth of coffee dates at Costa Coffee.

To enter the competition the couple, their family members or friends should email  or with the following details;

Couple names:

Couple ages:

Married since:

Brief love story: (where did you meet/how did you get together)

Photo of the happy couple: (if you’ve got one!)

If you are in a long standing relationship (over 30 years) but aren’t married then please feel free to still apply  - as long as you can approximately pinpoint when you got together!

The winner will be determined by the length of marriage/relationship. In the case of a draw, the winner will be decided according to what the judges deem to be the most romantic love story.

Closing date for the competition is 13th February and the winner will be announced on the 14th February 2020.

For Valentine’s Day gifts across the whole spectrum of relationship stages - whether a Diamond couple or brand new crush -  the Stamford Quarter shops have it covered.
