TWO people have been injured in a "targeted attack" at Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens.
Police and paramedics were called to reports of a stabbing in the area at around 12.10pm today (Monday).
Officers have since released a statement on the incident confirming there is "no threat to the wider community".
One man has been taken to hospital with injuries which aren’t believed to be life threatening. Another man received treatment at the scene for minor injuries.
No arrests have been made.
There are a number of road closures place and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.
