A STOLEN car was recovered after it rammed a police car near Blackburn.
Lancashire Road Police tweeted about the incident last night saying the Ford Fiesta ST had false plates and was spotted by officers.
This stolen Fiesta ST was on false plates and when sighted, rammed a police vehicle near to Blackburn before making off towards Brindle. After extensive searching, the vehicle was located out in the rurals abandoned on a farm. CSI will now work their magic. #T1TacOps

They later tweeted saying "Thankfully only minor damage to both vehicles and no injuries to the officer."
