FIRE crews took an hour to deal with a washing machine blaze.
The incident took place on Preston Old Road at 11.13am.
A Lancashire Fire Services spokesman said: "Two fire engines from Blackburn attended the incident.
"It was a fire involving a washing machine within an outhouse.
"Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and one thermal imaging camera to bring the fire under control."
