A DATE and venue has been set for a murder trial to take place, after the death of Mark Fisher.
The two people charged in connection with Mr Fisher's death, Joseph Hindle, 45, and Louise Henwood, 33, appeared over video link at Preston Crown Court this morning but neither entered a plea.
Hindle, who appeared over video link from Preston Prison, is charged with Mr Fisher's murder, while Henwood, who appeared in person, is charged with robbery and assisting an offender.
Both spoke to confirm their names, date of births and British nationality during the short hearing.
They will be asked to enter their pleas at a hearing at Preston Crown Court on March 31.
A trial date has been set for July 13 at Liverpool Crown Court. The trial has been given a provisional estimate of between five and seven days.
The charges came after Mr Fisher, 33, died at his home in Edleston Street in Accrington last Sunday.
A Home Office post mortem examination gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.
