Ken Garrity of Ken Garrity Travel from Altrincham has been appointed Elite Canada Specialist and is one of only a few in the country by the Canadian Tourist Board.
He said: "I have been selling Canada for many years with direct flights from Manchester to Toronto and Vancouver and for 2020 Halifax Nova Scotia and have sent hundreds of clients there for great holidays to places such as the Niagara Falls , the Rockies and for wild life including whales and bears.
"I became a Canadian Specialist many years ago and have travelled to this beautiful country many times including Eastern Canada, Toronto, Montreal ,Quebec and Nova Scotia as well as the West from Calgary to Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
"I won the Best UK Travel Specialist for Canada 2011 and received an award in London for this. "With the news that Meghan and Harry will be have a home there it will generate more interest than before."
