Housebuilder Miller Homes, has supported local primary school, St. Teresa’s in it’s pledge to raise money to provide better quality books for their pupils.

Miller Homes, who is building an exciting new development nearby to the school in Stretford called Novus, pledged £500 to help support St. Teresa’s and its children.

The donation comes as part of the housebuilders ongoing pledge to support the communities local to it’s developments.

Supporting local schools is just one of the many ways the housebuilder plans to get involved with the Stretford community.

The £500 donated by Miller Homes will go towards providing new titles, as well as new versions of existing books for the children of St. Teresa’s primary school. This is part of their ongoing mission to improve the literature available at the school’s library which is vital for further supporting the children with their education.

Anthony Schilling, headmaster of St. Teresa’s primary school said: “We’re so grateful to Miller Homes for their kind donation towards books for the children. The money they’ve pledged will be invaluable in bringing more creativity to St. Teresa’s through the power of books.”

Leanne Feely, Regional Sales Manager for Miller Homes in the North West, added: “We pride ourselves in supporting the local communities where we build. We’re thrilled to provide the children at St. Teresa’s with a wealth of new reading material. We hope our donation makes a difference and the pupils enjoy the adventures in their new books."
