A CAR crashed into a tree in Haslingden.
Firefighters were called to the crash in Manchester Road, at 5.40pm yesterday, after a car had come off the road and hit the tree.
A fire service spokesman said: "One casualty was assisted from the vehicle by firefighters and paramedics.
"Firefighters used wire cutters and a boar saw in the call out.
"They were in attendance for approximately 40 minutes."
