A HUGE cannabis farm was found in Urmston town centre at the weekend.
On January 4, officers from the Trafford North area police team swooped on an address on Victoria Parade and discovered more than 700 plants.
They struck last night after receiving intelligence about the presence of the drugs, according to a post on the GMP Trafford North Facebook page.
The post said: "Tonight, Trafford North area team have acted on some information passed to them and attended at an address on Victoria parade, Urmston and have located a large Cannabis farm comprising of over 700 cannabis plants at various stages of growth.
"Thanks to the Trafford North area team this seizure has taken a large amount of drugs off the street & out of Urmston & keeping all of Trafford safe."
