A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly being found with a bladed article.

The arrest was made last night while police were patrolling the town centre to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Officers from the Bolton Central neighbourhood team said they were also dispersing large groups of youths and taking action against youths on bikes without lights.

GMP Bolton Central tweeted at about 7.30pm yesterday: "Bolton Town Centre PC's and PCSO's are out tonight tackling anti social behaviour within the town centre. Any youths seen congregating in a large group will be dispersed, any reluctance to do so and they will be dealt with accordingly.
