KIND-hearted youngsters have shown their festive spirit by working hard to fill hampers for homeless people in Bolton this Christmas.

It is the second year children, staff and parents at Horwich Day Nursery have run their seasonal charity effort.

Sheen Dad, Horwich Day Nursey proprietor, has said: “Last year we helped many vulnerable people and this year set out to help even more. Everyone got into the Christmas spirit and not only did the kids enjoy making the hampers, but they also understood that there are people less fortunate than themselves and that, particularly at this time of the year, they are in need of extra help. I would like to thank everyone who has helped this year.”
