Late night shoppers, residents and workers were treated to a festive sing-a-long last week, thanks to a Christmas event hosted by Sale Town Partnership and The Square shopping.

The seasonal event, which took place on Thursday 12th December between 5-8pm was free to attend and saw a range of live music, festive food, drinks and of course, singing!

Local musicians and singing talent lead the singing around the Christmas trees with carols and Christmas classics performed by Trafford Music Services, Alma Singers, Footlight Sale, Sale Choral Society and Sale Brass Band bringing festive cheer to the town centre.

Revellers were also treated to festive stalls showcasing local makers and bakers - with mulled wine and cider for those in the mood for Christmas cheer!

Janine Friston, Chairperson of the Sale Town Partnership said: “It was brilliant to bring this new event to Sale.

“The singers and musicians created a wonderful atmosphere and we’d like to thank them for their time as well as the local businesses and everyone who came along on the night.”
